Controlled Designation of Origin 2010
Montefalco Rosso is made in the Montefalco wine district from a blend of autochthonous Sangiovese and Sagrantino grapes and Merlot grapes. Grapes: Sangiovese, Sagrantino, Merlot.
Colour: ruby red. Bouquet: currants, blueberries, vanilla. Taste: velvety, with good acidity. Ageing: 12 months in French oak barrels, 6 months in the bottle.
