Prosecco, a fine sparkling wine, is produced primarily in the Veneto region. The main grape used in making prosecco is the Glera, which must make up at least 85% of the grape varieties present.
Prosecco is a sparkling wine characterized by a blend of fragrances and aromas bearing the scent of flowers and fruit, honey, acacia and apricots. On the palate, the wine is both soft and dry at the same time, thanks to its clear acidity.
